About the Pub

Just off the north end of Bridge Street, the main pedestrianized shopping street in the town. A fairly small pub is of stone and brick construction. Recently and sympathetically refurbished, carpet now covers the flag stone floor giving a warm cosy feel. The ceiling beams are exposed as are the interior stone walls. Sport is constantly shown on the wall mountes TV's with a particular lean towards horse racing.
