Rosecastle Joinery offers a high specification as standard to ensure windows and doors stand the test of time. Products are designed for coastal environments, engineered to withstand harsh marine conditions – no rust, no rot, no problem. Stainless steel exterior furniture provides durable fittings that resist corrosion and enhance long-term aesthetics. Efficient toughened double glazing comes fitted in every unit as standard, delivering security and energy savings. And at the heart of it all is Accoya timber – the ultimate wood.
Accoya is an ultra-high performance sustainable wood, offering exceptional durability and stability. Backed by a 50-year warranty, it is highly stable, ideal for coatings, naturally insulating, non-toxic, and very low maintenance. It's the perfect choice for joinery that needs to look beautiful and perform brilliantly for decades to come.
Rosecastle Joinery is proud to work with Richard Sharp-Williams, a highly regarded local carpenter known for exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. Richard and his skilled team carry out the majority of window and door installations. The Rosecastle team liaises directly with Richard regarding timeframes and logistics, ensuring every installation runs smoothly and to schedule.
Sustainability is at the heart of the operation. Rosecastle Joinery's products feature thermally efficient design and sustainable materials including Accoya timber. The workshop is powered by 50% solar energy, and the business operates a zero-waste policy – all offcuts are reprocessed into sheet material, and sawdust is repurposed into animal bedding.
Founded in 2010 by Rhydian Williams, who began his career as an apprentice joiner before establishing his own business, Rosecastle Joinery has grown from humble beginnings to a team of nine skilled craftspeople, including two apprentices. Alongside his wife Christina, Rhydian has built a reputation for reliability, quality, and attention to detail. The business has completed projects across Pembrokeshire and West Wales, with work extending as far as Bristol, Cardiff, Scotland, the Isle of Man, and even Paris.
Areas of cultural significance like St Davids and Tenby are particularly popular for Rosecastle's work – locations where their craftsmanship stands proudly alongside buildings of rich heritage and historical importance.
