At The VC Gallery, we provide essential support to armed forces veterans and the wider community across Pembrokeshire. Our mission is to improve welfare by responding to the needs of veterans, people with mental and physical disabilities, and those facing social isolation. We engage with individuals in an empathetic manner, assisting them with their unique needs and entitlements.
Founded in 2013 by Army veteran Barry John MBE, The VC Gallery has grown significantly since its humble beginnings. Today, we are a dedicated team, including Steph Cross (Project Manager), Kevin Stanley, Josh Simmons (Military Peer Mentors), and a strong network of volunteers. Our two drop-in locations in Haverfordwest and Pembroke Dock offer support through creative and active engagement to people of all ages, with a focus on mental health, physical disabilities, and combatting social isolation.
Our approach revolves around social engagement, art, and creativity, which are vital to empowering individuals and enriching the community. Whether you're a veteran, someone with a disability, or facing social isolation, we provide a safe and welcoming space for all. We believe that creative activities are essential in fostering connection and personal growth.
We are committed to responding swiftly and effectively to the needs of our community, always working with compassion and empathy. Through our services, we aim to help improve the quality of life for everyone we serve.
Located in the heart of Pembrokeshire, The VC Gallery is open to all individuals who need support, engagement, or simply a space to feel welcome. Whether you're looking for social interaction or seeking assistance with your needs, we're here to help. Come visit us in Haverfordwest or Pembroke Dock, and be part of a growing community dedicated to empowerment and well-being.
