A late double from substitute Corey Richards gave Neyland an important point against Milford United in their battle for survival in Manderwood Division One.

The Nomads went in to the game in mixed form with three wins in their last five games against all competition, but with only two league victories all season, knowing the importance of gaining more consistency in the league.

They had already played Milford United away on the opening day of the season, falling to a 0-1 defeat.

The game saw young twins Ben and Joe Gale make their First Team debuts after impressing for the 2nds in their first season of Senior Football so far, with Tyler Sutton also returning to the team after being away at University.

Liam Parks put the visitors ahead in the 20th minute to keep up his fine form with his 15th goal of the season across all competitions.

The game remained fairly uneventful until Parks grabbed another for the Robins in the 79th minute, his 16th of the season, with the visitors looking to have gained the three points.

Neyland responded immediately with substitute Corey Richards pulling one back after a Mike Chandler assist.

With Neyland in the ascendancy they finally grabbed a deserved equaliser in injury-time with Richards heading in an equaliser to grab a deserved point for his team.
