Newport Tigers kept up their push for promotion with their eighth win of the season after coming out on top of an eight-goal thriller with Monkton Swifts 3rds.
The North Pembrokeshire side got off to the perfect start with two goals from star forward Danny Williams inside 22 minutes putting them two ahead, his 11th and 12th of this season's league campaign.
Andrew Bugby halved the lead with a goal for the hosts in the 25th minute, put Newport quickly responded with Williams sealing his hat-trick in the 27th minute after being set up by Dan English to put his side 3-1 up at the half-time break.
Lewis Dennison pulled a goal back for the Swifts in the 49th minute to put his side back into the game, before Newport once again doubled their advantage with a goal from Jacob Lewis in the 56th minute to make it 4-2.
Kevin Salmon then saw red for the visitors, with Monkton Swifts scoring in the 73rd minute to trail just 3-4 going into the last 20 minutes of the game.
The comeback wasn't to be with substitute Jac Griffiths making it five for the visitors to seal the victory after being set up by Jacob Lewis.
