In the heart of Fishguard, culinary innovation meets Welsh heritage at JT Abergwaun Hotel. Founded by Chef Daniel Jones and partner Lois Thomas, JT Hospitality Group has gone from strength to strength since its inception.

A Taste of Tradition, A Touch of Modernity

JT opened their first restaurant in November 2017. After three years they moved to a new premises - The Abergaun Hotel in Fishguard. Tastefully refurbished, the hotel stands as a beacon of modernity while paying homage to Welsh traditions with clear flavours and touches of innovation in every dish.

Awards and Accolades

JT's culinary excellence has not gone unnoticed with a number of awards recognising their fantastic work. 

The Welsh Hospitality Awards and Start Up Of The Year have bestowed upon JT two prestigious 'Highly Commended' awards. Further, JT3 clinched the coveted title of "Best Restaurant in the South West" at the 2019 Welsh Hospitality Awards as well as a "Gold Seal" Food award.

Head Chef Daniel Jones has showcased his culinary prowess on national platforms, competing for the esteemed title of National Chef of the Year in 2018, 2019, and 2020 while also competing in Masterchef: The Professionals back in 2010.

JT at Abergwaun also won "Outstanding Restaurant of the Year" in the Wales Food Awards 2023 with Daniel Jones winning the UK National Pub Chef of the Year Competition in 2023 where he will be returning to defend his title this year.
