Clarbeston Road continued their fine season with an impressive 4-1 win over Hakin United, their second victory against the Vikings this season. The result sees Hakin move down to second place behind title rivals Goodwick United.
Clarby had previously knocked Hakin United out of the Senior Cup with a 2-1 victory this season.
The visitors would have gone into the game with confidence having finished the calendar year in fourth place.
They got off to an electric start in the 19th minute when Laurie Haworth opened the scoring against his former side, before Matthew Davies doubled their lead just a minute later.
Recent signing Jordan Richards pulled one back for the hosts a few minutes later to make it 1-2.
Clarbeston Road restored their two goal cushion just before half time, with Matthew Davies turning provider for forward Ben "Rocky" John to make it three for the visitors.
In a quieter second half, "Rocky" added another to cap off a fine performance with the forward running the Hakin defence ragged throughout the game.
