MILFORD Haven came from behind to beat Loughor on Saturday (Jan 6) as they earned their fourth win of the season.

At half time the scores were level but Loughor, who sit third in the table, pulled away in the second half.

The Mariners hit back though and a last-gasp try sealed the win for the home side.

Ben Jenkins got the winning score which was converted by James Trueman, who himself had scored an earlier try along with two conversions and penalties.

Jimmy Buirds and Lee Riley had scored the other tries for Milford who now visit bottom of the table Amman United on Saturday (Jan 13).

Elsewhere in League 2 West, Tenby United continued their strong season with a 23-13 win away at Tycroes.

Dan Colley scored two tries for Tenby while Harry Rossitter added two penalties and three conversions.

It was their eighth win from nine games and sets them up nicely for their home game against second-placed Lampeter Town on Saturday.

St Clears remain top of the table as they beat Fishguard 34-8 at The Moors.

The win for the Saints sees them hold a nine-point lead over nearest challengers Lampeter with eleven wins from their opening thirteen games.

In League 3 West A, Haverfordwest gained an expected 50-0 win over bottom side Llanybydder.

Jamie Zambas, Jon Mason, and Jack Clancy were all among the scorers in the first half as the Blues lead 26-0 at the break.

Clancy added another in the second half while Archie Thomas added five conversions throughout the game.

St Davids' four-game winning run came to an end on Saturday as they were beaten 35-10 by League leaders Aberaeron.

In League 1 West, Whitland suffered a narrow 27-25 loss against Burry Port.

Gino Setaro scored two tries and Dominic Davies scored another while Geraint Jones slotted two penalties and two conversions.

Narberth remain top of the WRU Championship West division as they beat Dunvant 48-18.

It was their twelfth win in as many games and gives them a six point lead over their nearest challengers with a game in hand.

Crymych suffered defeat on Saturday as they were beaten 13-22 by Bonymaen.

Bonymaen scored two first half tries but a penalty from Eilir George before the break kept the Pembrokeshire side in the game.

Ianto Davies scored an unconverted try after the break but that was followed by another for the visitors.

Tomos Phillips went over for another try for Crymych to bring the score to 13-19 but they were unable to find another score.

A late penalty then sealed the win for the visitors.

On Saturday, January 13, Crymych travel to Narberth for an eagerly anticipated derby game.

The last game between the sides in October finished 39-24 in favour of the Otters and Crymych will look to exact some revenge for that defeat on home soil.
