Since Ashley and Sukie’s new ownership, The Brewery Inn has made quite the impression on our visits thus far and in particular, the establishment's commitment to local produce is what really stands out.

I was honoured to be invited for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look as Chefs Ben and Ashley practised and prepared their new menu recently. What became immediately apparent during our discussions with the chefs and Sukie, Ashley's partner and fellow business owner, was their unwavering dedication to celebrating local Pembrokeshire produce wherever possible.

Ashley and Ben possess a genuine passion for food that permeates everything they create. Their philosophy centres around freshness and utilising the wonderful array of produce available right on Pembrokeshire's doorstep.

"I've been a chef in Pembrokeshire for many years now, and it's clear that we have some of the finest produce around," shares Ashley. "From the land to the sea, we're blessed with incredible ingredients. The seafood coming in fresh from Milford Haven, the quality meats from local farms, and the beautiful seasonal vegetables grown just miles away—it would be a disservice not to showcase these treasures on our menu."

As part of their celebration of local produce, The Brewery Inn has launched a new suppliers section on their website, which showcases the different local providers in each category. From established names like Castell Howell to their local butchers, and relatively new artisans like Cariad Sourdough, the team is always enthusiastic about trying new products and incorporating them into their menu.
