Hakin United dealt with a tricky test against 4th place Clarbeston Road in what is a series of tough fixtures for the defending champions.

In two days' time, they face Merlins Bridge before a mouthwatering clash against title rivals Goodwick United on Saturday.

Jay Power gave the Vikings the lead, tapping in after a corner for the home side.

Clarbeston Road were reduced to ten men in the second half with star player Ben John sent off for a strong challenge despite protests from the visitors.

Leon Luby sealed the victory for the Vikings with a low-driven shot, after an assist from substitute Hayden Dimond, his second in as many games.

Rock bottom St Clears were defeated 1-3 by Kilgetty whose good form could see them secure a top-half finish.

Kilgetty took a 3-0 first-half lead with goals from Lloyd Hughes, Adam Johns and Richard Cope, with Sam Nicholas scoring a consolation goal for the home side in the second half.
