On a busy weekend of football in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire Football League, the four Senior Cup semi-finalists were determined with action also coming across all five leagues and three division cups.

Goodwick United confidently dispatched Carew, with both clubs returning to Manderwood Pembrokeshire League action after impressive wins in the West Wales cup.

Two goals from the in-form Rhys Jones gave them a first-half lead before late goals from Rhys Dalling and Scott Delaney secured the win.

Elsewhere last years Senior Cup finalists held their nerve to knock out Merlins Bridge. Jordan Williams opened the scoring for the visitors (photographed above by MW10 Sports Photography) before Oscar Miles equalised for the hosts. 

Lloyd Hughes put Kilgetty upfront before Alfie Stottor equalised for the visitors.

In the penalty shootout Lloyd Hughes, Richard Cope and Owain Coombs scored for the hosts to seal a great victory.

Division One

Hakin returned to league action with a thumping 14-0 victory at home to St Clears with Ashley Bevan grabbing five goals and Leon Luby also bagging a hat-trick as St Clears stay rooted to the bottom of the table.

Neyland continued their impressive form and climbed up to 7th with their fourth win in five games,  whilst St Ishmaels secured their fourth draw in five, with a point lifting them out of the relegation zone.

Division Two

Hakin United 2nds secured an impressive 2-1 victory away to Merlins Bridge 2nds with Leon Davies grabbing a brace for the visitors after they fell behind early in the game.

The battle for the title remains as competitive as ever with Milford United just one point behind with a game in hand after a thumping victory over Broad Haven.

Elsewhere Herbrandston missed the chance to go top as they were held by Carew thanks to a late penalty from Haydn Shapcott.

Division Three

At the top of the table, leaders Cosheston defeated 2nds place Lawrenny in a thrilling encounter. The hosts quickly established a 2-0 lead with goals from Thomas Matthews and William Davies, but this was cancelled out with goals for the visitors from Sam Davies and Jordan Gorman.

Josh Dearly grabbed the winner for the hosts with a goal in the 65th minute to secure a huge three points in the battle for the title.

Neyland continued their imperious form at the top of the table with a 2-0 away win against Angle, thanks to a brace from Taylor Collins.

Elsewhere Kilgetty secured an impressive 5-1 victory away to the recently rejuvenated Prendergast Villa.

Division Five

Johnston 2nds secured an impressive 4-2 victory against Cosheston 2nds, to go level with them in the league as both sides look towards a late promotion charge.

Philip John opened the scoring for the visitors with an acrobatic overhead kick but the hosts quickly responded with goals from their centre-back duo Pete Donnelly and Ryan Hayward.

Josh Knapp doubled the Tigers lead before half-time before Jason Evans halved it again early in the second half with a penalty.

Josh Knapp grabbed another for the Tigers to secure the hosts sixth win in seven games.
