Johnston cruised into the next round of the West Wales Cup with an impressive 6-0 victory over Llanelli side Pwll Athletic thanks to braces from Joey George and Josh Knapp, with goals also from Tom Richards and Josh Lealand.

Johnston had sailed through the previous round with a 7-2 victory over fellow Pembrokeshire side Pembroke Borough and would have been hoping to replicate that football again following a mixed bag of results in the league in between.

The Tigers got off to the perfect start when Josh Knapp set up Tom Richards in the 6th minute to give them the lead.

Captain Joey George hit a quick-fire double before the break with goals in the 41st and 42nd minutes to give his team a commanding 3-0 lead at the break.

The game remained with that score for most of the second period until Craig Bendall set up Josh Knapp to score in the 82nd minute.

Josh Knapp then added another in the 86th minute after being set up by substitute Kieran Blundell, before another substitute Josh Lealand got in on the action thanks to a Josh Knapp assist.
