New Hedges Saundersfoot United were narrowly defeated by Carew in the first round of the Senior Cup, losing 1-2 with an own goal and Shaun Whitfield scoring for the visitors.
The last time these two sides met was also in the first round of the Senior Cup last season, with Carew winning 15-0 in a one-sided contest.
New Hedges Saundersfoot United went into this game with more confidence, despite the three-division gap between the teams, having won six out of six games in Division Four.
Their fantastic form has been helped by the return of Sam Franklin from Hakin, who showed his quality early on by saving a penalty from Shaun Whitfield.
12 minutes later Shaun Whitfield put his side ahead before New Hedges Saundersfoot United equalised.
Carew then took the lead through an own goal from the hosts.
The scoreline remained 1-2 with Carew narrowly advancing to the next round.
