With the first round of the Senior Cup kicking off, this local rivalry between two of last season's semi-finalists looked like it could be the game of the round and it certainly didn't disappoint.
Ned Davies put Tenby ahead with a goal in the 24th minute, the only goal of the first half.
Tenby then hit a quickfire double to establish a comfortable 3-0 lead, with Ned Davies setting up Fraser Finlay and Toby Rossiter setting up Adam Muskett.
Kilgetty hit back with a goal in the 57th minute through Adam Johns.
Steven Thomas then scored Kilgetty's 2nd goal in the 77th minute to set up a nervy finish to the game for Tenby who held on to advance to the next round.
The Seasiders will be looking to go even further than last year's fantastic run to the semi-finals where they were narrowly defeated by eventual champions Goodwick United despite a fantastic performance at the Ogi Bridge Meadow Stadium.
