Following their midweek champions crowning with victory over Milford United, Goodwick United would have been keen to put on another fine display for their fans again as they travelled to take on Merlins Bridge.
It was the Wizards though who took an early lead, with a dream debut for Eddie Sanders who turned 16 years old on Thursday and brought straight into the starting line up, taking just three minutes to score after being set up by David Cromwell.
However, the lead did not last long when former Bridge duo Jake Smith and Nathan Greene combined for Greeney to equalise in the fifth minute.
The hosts took the lead again through another youngster with Henry Thomas scoring in the 10th minute with an assist for Jordan Thomas.
Once again the lead was short lived, with Goodwick equalising just six minutes later through James Bryan, with a Nathan Greene assist.
Greene then got back on the scoresheet himself with a quickfire double scoring in the 27th and 28th minutes to complete a hat-trick, with assists for Luke Hayward and Dan James.
Goodwick added a couple more goals in the second half, first through Rhys Dalling in the 74th minute with another assist for Jake Smith and then through Kyle O'Sullivan with an assist for Will Haworth.
The win sees Goodwick United hit the 50 point mark as they look to finish the season undefeated in the league with four games left to play.
