The Otters have lost the last two, following a perfect season until a fortnight ago. Ystrad Rhondda defeated the Otters in the cup, and last week Brecon got the better of the Otters. They'll be keen to put that right this weekend when they travel to Newcastle Emlyn.
Despite two losses on the bounce Narberth still sit top of the division and four points clear of last weeks opponents Brecon. It was another close game last week much like the week before in the cup and just five points was the difference between the two teams on the day. Hamer, Powell and Illan Phillips crossed the whitewash for the visitors on the day, with Rogers converting one and adding three points with a penalty kick.
This weekend's opposition have lost their last two games themselves all be it in close games. The Otters will be confident of bouncing back in style and showing everyone why they are top of the Championship. Newcastle Emlyn are a good outfit and sit in mid table in the division, however I fear they maybe on the wrong end of a Otters backlash this weekend.
Promotion is secured for Narberth however anything other than being crowned champions would be disapointing after the season they have had.
