The Otters hosted Bonymaen in a game they knew could put them on the brink of becoming champions. They were very much favourites and they lived up to that tag. Lewis Gibby was yet again outstanding for the hosts, his pace and finishing is a joy to watch and has been all campaign. Gibby crossed twice while Aled Rees and Osborn also got over the whitewash. Rogers as ever was on form with the boot adding a penalty and four conversions. The win means the Otters need two points from their game with Maesteg Quins in order to be crowned champions.
Meanwhile promotion chasers Tenby travelled to Carmarthen to face Athletic knowing a win would see them promoted. United made no mistake and the celebrations lived long into the night as the visitors won 38-16. A fantastic achievement for all players and coaching staff which have all worked so hard since the summer to make this a memorable season. A huge congratulations to everyone at the club and it's nice to see all that hard work being rewarded.
