As the Pembrokeshire Cricket season nears its conclusion, we take a look at the Division One Relegation battle with a number of teams vying for survival.
It has been a thrilling season so far, where outside of the top four, no one will have felt completely comfortable. In fact, only a couple of weeks ago the fifth place team was far from safe.
Narberth look doomed as they sit rock bottom. Technically they are not down yet, but they need two big wins to give themselves any chance of survival and are also relying on others losing - a monumental ask.
Llangwm currently occupy the other relegation spot and are four points adrift of Haverfordwest who sit just above the drop zone. St Ishmaels and Whitland are ten and eleven points clear of Town, respectively, and one win each should see them both safe.
It looks likely to be two from the current bottom three, with Llangwm and Haverfordwest at most risk.
Haverfordwest host Cresselly this coming Saturday and they couldn't have asked for a better time to play them. Cresselly have nothing to play for and their form reflects that.
Meanwhile, Llangwm host Saundersfoot, another team with nothing to play for who may be distracted by their up coming final.
Narberth host Whitland in a must win affair for the hosts, a loss for the visitors would see them dragged back into danger ahead of the final game. A loss for Narberth would surely seal their fate, meaning Division Two cricket next season.
Elsewhere, Tish host Lawrenny, another of the cup finalists. Tish have hit good form at the right time and I wouldn't be surprised to see them secure safety with a home win here.
A huge weekend at the bottom of the table awaits and we will be covering every aspect of it as it happens.
