St Clears got off to the perfect start to life in Pembrokeshire Division Three, with a 4-1 victory over newly promoted Camrose 2nds.
St Clears may have suffered successive relegations, but they have shown over the past two years that they are a club full of talented youngsters on the up. Likewise, their opponents have shown fantastic progress in developing a great young team, resulting in their promotion as champions of Division Four last season.
Samuel Nicholas got the visitors off to a dream start in the game with a goal in the 2nd minute.
Nicholas then turned provider, setting up Harri Morgans for a goal in the 35th minute.
Ethan Ryan capped off a superb opening period for St Clears on the stroke of half time, with Morgans registering the assist.
Camrose 2nds pulled a goal back early in the second half through Olly Fair, who scored in the 50th minute thanks to an assist from Finley Davies.
A comeback was not to be, with St Clears adding a fourth to complete the victory in the 84th minute, with Nicholas grabbing another assist, this time setting up substitute Liam Morley-Trivett.
