Wales Over 50s visit the Racecourse to celebrate Town's Bicentenary

Haverfordwest CC continued their Bicentenary celebrations this past weekend with a 40 overs friendly against Wales Over 50s.
Invited to bat first, Wales O50s made a solid start with Andrew Williams & Conrad Adam's both making 30s. Steven Randall top scored with a hard hitting 64 not out, ably supported by Sam Stanway at the end, setting a target of 183 to win.
For the youthful Town side, Kos (2/22), Freddie Goodridge (1/22), Jack Peters (1/7) & Brandon Dewstowe (1/22) took the wickets. 
Pete Soulsby (22) & Jason Stobbs (10) got Haverfordwest's chase underway but wickets fell at regular intervals. Jack Peters (20no) gave the innings some impetus but only Steffan Bridger (10) & Danny Dewstowe (12) managed to get into double figures as HCC were skittled for 114.
Alan Webster (2/23), Sam Stanway (2/32), Keri Chahal (2/21) & Steve Randall (1/1) picking up the wickets with David Hopkins starring with 3 for 24 to break the back of the Town's batting line up.
After the game, Simon Williams & William Phillips presented a token of Haverfordwest CC's appreciation to Wales Over 50s for coming down to help celebrate the clubs bicentenary
