Football match photos as Goodwick United continued their fine form at the top of the Division One table with a comfortable 7-2 victory over Monkton Swifts.

The Phoneix Boys got off to a lightning start with forward Rhys Dalling putting them in front just five minutes in.

Dalling then made it two, 20 minutes later, thanks to an assist from recent signing Kieran Blundell.

The Swifts pulled a goal back just before half-time through Dylan Davies, going into the break 1-2 down.

Goodwick stepped it up a gear in the second half, with Dalling completely his hat-trick in the 52nd minute thanks to an assist from Rhys Jones.

Rhys Jones then got in on the action himself in the 63rd minute, with an assist for substitute Jonny Horgan.

Horgan then got on the scoresheet himself in the 69th minute, thanks to an assist from another subtitute, recent signing Alex Thomas.

The visitors pulled a goal back in the 70th minute, but Goodwick weren't done there, adding two more goals through Jonny Horgan and Rhys Dalling to round off a comfortable victory.

The win sees Goodwick keep their four point cushion at the top of the table above rivals Hakin United, having won 12 and drawn one game out of the 13 so far.
