Clarbeston Road returned to winning ways, coming out on top of a five goal thriller versus Monkton Swifts thanks to a late free-kick from Rob Morgans.
After back-to-back defeats against Merlins Bridge and Milford United, Clarby knew they would be in for another tough game hosting a Monkton Swifts sides who had won three consecutive league games.
The home side got off to a great start with goals from Laurie Haworth and Ben "Rocky" John giving them a two goal lead at half-time, with assists from Matthew Davies and Travis Jones.
Monkton Swifts came out firing and quickly pulled a goal back through Connor Hay, who was set up by Ben Steele.
Steele then got on the scoresheet himself with an equaliser in the 81st minute, thanks to a Cameron Brunton assist.
Substitute Rob Morgans broke the deadlock to secure the three points for Clarbeston Road with a swerving long range free-kick beating the Swift's 'keeper.
The win sees Clarbeston Road go ahead of Monkton Swifts, with just one point separating the teams who sit fourth and fifth respectively.
