A Stephen Mills inspired Llangwm victory alongside a Shan Perera led victory for Town, means a few teams in the first division may now be looking over their shoulders. Narberth now occupy the bottom place in the first division after they were well beaten by top of the table Neyland. Tish and Whitland wouldn't have been best pleased to see Llangwm and Haverfordwest win either as they now are not comfortable at all in mid table.

We've been suggesting for weeks that a team with Steven Mills and Steven Inward in their ranks won't get relegated from the first division and Saturday went some way to proving that maybe true. Mills'  outstanding an brutal 114 blew the Cresselly attack away. While Haverfordwest's newbie Shan Perera showed he may have played a bit before as he won them the game with his classy 138, in a game which saw two centurys after Tom Mansbridge made an excellent 102 for Saundersfoot in the first innings.

Elsewhere a very depleted Narberth were bowled out for 80 against the champions who knocked it off for the loss of four wickets. The loss puts Narberth bottom of the league and the will have to begin to turn their form and availability around sharpish if they want to avoid a serious relegation battle.

The shock result of the day perhaps came were Carew beat Lawrenny, there was no shock at the result but the margin of victory was huge. Carew scored a brilliant 302-6, thanks to Jon Rogers' first ton for the Rooks as he scored 115, while Chandler 66 and Grieve 56 also got in on the run scoring act to ensure a huge total for Lawrenny to chase. Chase maybe a strong word as Lawrenny were taken apart by Iori Hicks 4-35 and  James Hinchliffe who took an outstanding 6-9 from his nine overs. Lawrenny were all out for 45 in what you could call a day to forget for them, in contrast it'll be a day to remember for Rogers, Hinchliffe and their team mates.

Whitland showed their grit once again to secure a good win over Tish who now will be far from comfortable in their league position. Tish were 157 all out and Whitland chased this for the loss of four wickets to ensure a vital win.
