Ball dominated bat in both semi finals as nobody scored over 109 as teams fought it out for the right to play in the final at Cresselly.

The first semi final was between Llangwm and Saundersfoot and both teams have some very dangerous batsmen, we looked set for a run fest. It wasn't to be however as Llangwm batting first made just 93 for 8, a score that was very unlikely to be enough. Mills, Davies and Kiff all threatened to take their team to a very competitive total, however Mills was dismissed for 24 and Kiff just 10, meaning Davies top scored with 37. Nick Cope bowled excellently to claim four wickets for just 13 runs, brilliant figures in any format but in the shorter format a spell like that can completely change the game.

In reply Cope again stepped up and his unbeaten 35 saw his team over the line, he was supported by John Mansbridge who ended unbeaten on 23 and brother Tom who earlier made 16. A fairly one sided semi final however Saundersfoot won't be complaining as they begin preparation for the final.

It was another low scoring match at Kilgetty when division two leaders Burton took on Lawrenny. Burton's top order didn't perform as they would have hoped when they lost key players Hayman and Kiff for (17) and (1) respectively. Venables and Davies followed soon after for just one run between them, Morgan Scale stepped up and anchored the innings with 31 from 46 balls. He was backed up by Luke Hayman's 21 and Nick Jones who added 29 from just 17 balls. Not a score Burton would have wanted but they'd managed to give themselves something to bowl at. Lewis impressed with the ball for Lawrenny as he took 4 for 18 including a hat-trick.

Harry Thomas and Will Allen were tasked with leading the chase for Lawrenny and they put on 53 for the first wicket. However Nick Jones and Hayman ensured the scoring was fairly slow meaning overs were creeping up on the first division outfit. First change bowlers Scale and Davies were also economical and picked up five wickets between them. An impressive effort in the field meant Lawrenny reached their target in the final over, Purslowe was key as he made a run a ball 25 to book his teams place in the final.

A good effort from all four teams and we look forward to an exciting final in Cresselly.
