Narberth hosted Llangwm who despite a tough season so far we've tipped to have enough quality to steer them to safety. It wasn't easy to bat on a tricky track at Narberth and the hosts were tasked with setting a target. However the hosts batsmen struggled to make much progress as the visitors bowling attack dominated. Matthew Kiff 3-18, led the way well supported by all rounder Steve Mills who took 2-4 while Toby Asson 2-36 and Noah Davies 2-14 both made good use of the conditions. This meant the hosts were limited to just 75 all out with only Llew Jones passing twenty as he made 24.
Predictably Steven Mills the outstanding player of this season for his team and indeed in the county steered his team home as he was 22 unbeaten when Llangwm reached their target having lost three wickets. Noah Davies' 22 was also vital in ensuring his team got a vital win and picked up 16 points for it. The result means Llangwm sit in seventh and twenty points clear of Haverfordwest and twenty six points clear of Narberth who both occupy the relegation places. With the points scoring system as it is 26 points is a big gap, and despite Narberth having players to come back into their team they have a big task ahead of them to avoid the drop.
