League leaders Neyland emerged victorious against Saundersfoot, further cementing their position as the top of the table as they aim to defend their title.

Winning the toss, Neyland elected to bat first. Their innings was anchored by a solid performance from Dai Davies, who remained unbeaten with a composed 77 not out from 124 balls. Davies played a pivotal role in stabilizing the innings, ensuring Neyland posted a competitive total. Ross Hardy provided a brisk knock, contributing 51 runs from 64 balls, which included five boundaries and a towering six. Opener Paul Murray also chipped in with a steady 31 runs. By the end of their allotted 45 overs, Neyland had accumulated a total of 215 for 5, setting a challenging target for Saundersfoot.

In response, Saundersfoot struggled to build momentum against Neyland's disciplined bowling attack. Despite a valiant effort from Jon Mansbridge, who top-scored with 56 runs, and all-rounder Danny Caine's contribution of 34, Saundersfoot fell short of the target. The standout performance with the ball came from Jack John, who wreaked havoc with figures of 4 for 22. He was well supported by Smith, who took 3 for 31, effectively dismantling the Saundersfoot batting lineup. Consequently, Saundersfoot were bowled out for 149 runs, falling well short of the target.
