Three fearless women from Pembrokeshire are gearing up for the challenge of a lifetime as they prepare to row across the Atlantic Ocean. Emma, a dedicated nurse and adventurer from England, Tyenne, a passionate rower born and raised in Pembrokeshire, and Rowena, a multi-sport enthusiast and perpetual student, are uniting to tackle the 3000-mile journey from Marina Rubicon in Lanzarote to Jolly Harbour, Antigua.
Driven by their shared determination to prove that anything is achievable with dedication, the trio aims to raise funds and awareness for four charities close to their hearts: The Robin Cancer Trust, The MS Society, The Welsh Air Ambulance, and Megans Starr Foundation.
Emma, Tyenne, and Rowena are seeking sponsorship to support their expedition and invite interested parties to join them on their journey. In addition to financial support, they are also seeking media coverage to share their inspiring story with the public.
"We are thrilled to embark on this daring adventure and support causes that are deeply meaningful to us," says Emma. "Rowing across the Atlantic is a testament to the power of perseverance and the importance of giving back to our community."
The Robin Cancer Trust, dedicated to raising awareness of testicular and ovarian cancers, holds a special place in Emma's heart, as she lost a close friend to ovarian cancer. The MS Society, supporting those affected by multiple sclerosis, is personal to Rowena, whose father has been living with MS for over a decade. The Welsh Air Ambulance, providing critical care to those in need across Wales, is a cause close to Tyenne's heart.
As they prepare for their epic journey, Emma, Tyenne, and Rowena are grateful for the support of their local community and look forward to making a positive impact through their expedition.
