Goodwick United progressed to the Semi-Finals of the Senior Cup with a comfortable 5-0 victory over Merlins Bridge thanks to braces from Will Haworth and Rhys Dalling, and a goal from Jonny Horgan.
The visitors got off to a lightning start with Will Haworth opening the scoring against his former club in the first minute after being set up by Stefan Hayes.
Goodwick doubled their lead just three minutes later through Jonny Horgan, who was set up by Dan James to make it 2-0 inside just four minutes.
Jonny Horgan had come into the team following an injury to Rhys Jones sustained against Hakin United.
Forward Rhys Dalling then made it three in the 19th minute, scoring from the penalty spot.
Dalling added another in the 31st minute with an assist directly from goalkeeper Kyle Marsh, to make it 4-0 going in to half-time.
Goodwick were awarded a penalty when Jonny Horgan was taken out for a penalty in the 54th minute, with the player forced off to be replaced by Nathan Greene. Rhys Dalling stepped up to take it with a chance for his hat-trick but hit the post.
Will Haworth finished the scoring for his side with another goal in the 69th minute, thanks to another assist for a defender, this time James Bryan.
The victory sees Goodwick United stay on course for the treble, with all eyes on their upcoming West Wales Cup Semi-Final encounter with holders Penlan.
Elsewhere in the Senior Cup, Clarbeston Road sealed a dramatic extra-time victory over Milford United to secure their place in the Semi-Finals.
The quartet is completed by Pennar Robins and Carew who recorded victories last weekend over Johnston and Monkton Swifts respectively.
Goodwick United will face Pennar Robins whilst Clarbeston Road will face Carew with dates and venues to be confirmed.
