Merlins Bridge advanced to the West Wales Cup Semi-Finals with a 3-1 win over fellow Pembrokeshire side Kilgetty thanks to a brace from Joe Leahy and a goal from Alex Thomas.
The Wizards would have gone in to the game with no complacency having failed to beat Kilgetty in their last three meetings, with a draw and a defeat in the league this season, and a Senior Cup exit at their hands last season.
The hosts got off to a dream start, with forward Alex Thomas firing them ahead thanks to an assist from full back Gino Dragone.
Kilgetty grew back into the game and equalised through Richard Cope who was set up by Lloyd Hughes, with the visitors finishing the first half strongly.
Merlins Bridge came out stronger in the second half and took the lead after a good run from Jamie Palmer down the right hand side of the penalty box, delivering a dangerous cross across the penalty box, finding the feat of Joe Leahy who cooly slotted home for his side to take the lead in the 61st minute.
Joe Leahy grabbed another in the 78th minute, with a header from substitute Henry Thomas' cross.
Unfortunately for Leahy he would soon be given a second yellow and sent off in the 87th minute, marring an otherwise great day for the player and his side.
Elsewhere, fellow Pembrokeshire side Goodwick United comfortably saw off Seaside with an impressive 5-1 away victory thanks to goals from Scott Delaney, Rhys Dalling, Will Haworth, Jake Smith and Rhys Jones.
Llangyfelach saw off West End with a 3-0 home victory.
The final semi-final spot remains yet to be decided with Milford United's match against Penlan postponed due to the poor weather.
