In the Manderwood Pembrokeshire League's only game taking place on Saturday March 2nd, a young Hakin United comfortably saw off Neyland.

With no games taking place on grass, this fixture was the only game to take place across all five leagues, being played at Ysgol Caer Elen 4G pitch.

With both teams fielding young sides, the Vikings showed their quality with hat-tricks for both Shane Walsh and Alfie Stottor, with a goal for Leon Luby as well as first team debutant Tommy Powles.

Powles was not the only debutant in the Hakin starting XI with fellow 16 year old Corey Riley also starting and registering an assist.

Sean Hannon was the only goalscorer for the Nomads with an assist from 16 years old Leo Power.

The result sees Neyland remain in the relegation zone, two points adrift from safety but having played more games than the surrounding teams.

Hakin United go top of the table, one point ahead of Goodwick United, but having played four games more. Whilst this has certainly been a season in transition for the Vikings, there are still plenty of positives as they look to finish comfortably in the top two.
