It was a day where ball dominated bat in the second division with the exception of Burton's Toby Hayman who's match winning 106 was outstanding.
The lowest scoring affair was won by Herbrandston who skittled newly promoted Pembroke and made it three wins in three for skipper Rob Hood. Some outstanding figures from Charlie Malloy 3-7 and Atticus Kingston 3-8 ensured Herbie had a tiny target to chase and did it with ease.
Aled Phelps was Hook's hero as he put in a match winning all round performance against Llanrhian and it leaves the men from the north of the county winless after two games. Veteran Barry Evans outstanding figures of 5-16 ensured Carew limited Johnston to just 103 a target they were able to chase with ease. Slow bowling was also the key at Lamphey as David Dredge took 5-5 in their win over local rivals Pembroke Dock. As previously mentioned an outstanding win for Burton inspired by skipper Toby Hayman's unbeaten 106, it's still early but Burton and Herbie look like the teams to beat in this division.
