The Pembrokeshire cricket season is finally underway and we've been around the grounds working on reports and action photos as we will be all season. It was an interesting day and we are going to take a look at the results and talking points from the top division.
Haverfordwest came back into the division in style with a hammering of Llangwm who look like they may have a long season ahead. Cresselly also impressed with a big win over neighbours Lawrenny. Jon 'Yogi' Rogers made a great debut for Carew putting in a man of the match peformance with bat and ball to get his team over the line. The champions showed why they hold the title by hammering newly promoted Whitland, however a weaker Neyland eleven than we have seen in previous seasons. Narberth and Tish played out the game of the day as the Mice won by four runs in an exciting and evenly matched contest.
