Burton 164 all out  lost to Herbrandston 165 for 4

Herbrandston travelled to Burton in a clash between two teams who appear to be promotion contenders in this seasons second division. The hosts batted first and were bowled out for 164 with Nick Jones reaching 42 and Gavin Campbell adding 26*. On a ground that is a nice one for batting 164 was under par and with no batsman really going on to make a match winning score the hosts had left a lot of work to be done after tea if they were going to get anything out of the game.

Despite the efforts of Morgan Scale 2-22 and Luke Hayman 1-26, the visitors got over the line having only lost 4 wickets and never really looking in trouble. Youngsters Harry Nicholas 52 and Charlie Malloy 30 impressed once again for their team. It was Ryan Davies who made sure of the win with his unbeaten 46 in what is an important and impressive win for Herbie.
