Whisper it, the weather is dry and set fair for the weekend as the cricket season is set to finally start Saturday.  Cricketers up and down the county will be digging out their whites and making sure all the kit is still in the bag and that it all still fits after a long winter. Groundsmen will be working tirelessly over the next few days to ensure the grounds are in as good condition as is physically possible. There are plenty of mouthwatering fixtures to look forward to. 

Division One Fixtures

Cresselly v Lawrenny 

Haverfordwest v Llangwm 

Narberth v St Ishmaels 

Neyland v Whitland 

Saundersfoot v Carew  

 

Newly promoted Haverfordwest will be looking to start the season with a win against a Llangwm team who are predicted to struggle this season. Cresselly and Lawrenny know eachother inside out and will be eager to begin with a positive result.

Last season Narberth impressed many and they host St Ishmaels, two teams who will be hoping a good start to the season prevents any risk of a relegation battle.

The champions Neyland will host newly promoted Whitland, with the visitors likely to have a reminder of the quality in this first division. Finally Saundersfoot host Carew in what promises to be a evenly matched affair and will be an interesting match up to keep an eye on.
