Hakin United progressed to the next round of the West Wales Cup with victory over West End thanks to goals from Camron Thomas and Liam Parks.

The Vikings would have gone into the game full of confidence, unbeaten in their season under the return of manager Scott Davies.

It was another returnee, defender Camron Thomas, who gave the Vikings the lead in the 62nd minute, thanks to an assist from Captain Ryan Wilson.

The hosts had the chance to double the lead from the spot after West End's goalkeeper Johnathan Harding saw red, but Jack Britton failed to convert from the spot.

They did however find another goal to wrap up the victory in injury-time, with new signing Liam Parks scoring to send the Obs crowd wild, with another assist from the in-form Wilson.
