Pembrokeshire Division Two side Neyland pulled of a "Cupset", knocking out Division One St Ishmaels from the West Wales Cup, on Saturday 2nd November, 2024.

The promotion chasing Nomads had shown great quality in the Senior Cup last weekend where they put in a valiant display against Division One Clarbeston Road despite falling to defeat.

They got off to a fantastic start just 15 minutes in when Max Bowman-Davies headed home from Jay Johnstone's corner.

Max Bowman-Davies then doubled the lead just ten minutes later, scoring from a Dylan James rebound.

Jay Johnstone then showed his quality from set-pieces again, scoring a stunning free-kick to make it three for his side going into the break after an excellent first half display.

Tish pulled a goal back in the 60th minute through Joel Mills, but it was only to be a consolation goal with Neyland showing quality to not only defend their lead but to continue to create chances.
