Neyland and Solva shared the spoils in an entertaining eight goal thriller in Pembrokeshire Division Two.

Promotion chasing Neyland went into the game in good form with four consecutive league wins and a 3-2 victory over Cwmfelin Press in the West Wales Cup.

Solva had enjoyed a mixed but entertaining season with three wins, three loses and a draw with plenty of goals in every game played - a sign of things to come for this encounter. 

It was the visitors who started strongly, taking the lead through 17 year old Danny Thomas in the 16th minute, with Thomas then doubling the lead in the 37th minute, with assists for Lucas Price and Josh Bland, respectively.

Neyland hit back with a goal from a talented 17 year old of their own, with Ben Gale scoring after being set up by Jack John.

Neyland came out strongly in the second half, with Jack John once again the provider, this time for Dylan James to equalise for the Nomads.

Ben Gale then put his side ahead with his second goal, thanks to an assist from Simon "Jaffa" Ellis.

Jack John then completed a hat-trick of assists to set up Jay Johnstone for the hosts to take a 4-2 lead with the home fans surely thinking the three points were in the bag.

Not to be defeated, Solva rallied in search of a late comeback, with Bland setting up Harry Elliot to reduce the deficit to just a goal in the 90th minute.

Morgan Elliott then grabbed an equaliser in the 92nd minute with an assist for Sean Ellison from a set-piece, to seal a dramatic late point for his side.
