A late goal from Travis Jones gave Clarbeston Road an important three points with a 1-0 win over Milford United in Pembrokeshire Division One.
In a game where Clarbeston Road created a number of chances in front of goal, it was Milford United who missed the best opportunity to take the lead in the 70th minute, missing from the penalty spot after a handball was awarded against Josh Wood.
Charlie Malloy once again showed his quality in the sticks with a number of good saves for the Robins.
The match also saw the new "sin bin" in operation with youngster Tyler Sheil sitting out the game for ten minutes.
With the game looking to be heading for a 0-0 draw, Clarbeston Road found a winner from an unlikely source, with defensive midfielder Travis Jones scoring a great goal from outside the box, with an assist for Laurie Haworth on his first start of the season after scoring on his return from injury from the bench the previous week.
The win sees Clarbeston Road leapfrog Milford United into 5th place, with both teams looking to build on last season's strong campaigns.
