Hakin United's young 2nds team continued their perfect start to the season with a 3-0 victory over Neyland in Pembrokeshire Division Two on Wednesday 4th September 2024.
The Vikings took the lead in the 23rd minute through Evan Rutherford with an assist for Henry Mayhew.
The lead was quickly doubled with Callum Stannett making it two thanks to a Corey Riley assist in the 29th minute.
The scoring was completed in the 70th minute with Evan Rutherford scoring from the penalty spot, his eight goal involvement in just three games.
The win takes Hakin United 2nds up to 2nd place in the table with a full nine points from the available nine, with only Camrose ahead of them on virtue of goals scored.
Neyland sit in 6th place with a mixed bag of results from their opening three games and host Johnston this weekend (Saturday 7th September), whilst Hakin United 2nds face a trip against 3rd place Fishguard Sports in what should be a great game of football.
