Tenby and Hakin United shared a 1-1 draw in Pembrokeshire Division One on 21st September 2024.
Both teams had started the season strongly, sitting in 3rd and 1st place respectively.
The Vikings were looking to keep up their imperious goalscoring form at the top of the table as they attempt to grapple the league title away from rivals Goodwick, whilst Tenby were desperate to respond last week's last minute defeat to the Phoenix Boys after a valiant performance.
The visitors would have been left frustrated by a couple of injury concerns ahead of the game, with star man Alfie Stottor potentially out for a few weeks.
A late red card for Joe Leahy saw him miss out for the hosts after a strong start to his return for the club, with youngster Charlie Gregory also banned.
Much like their previous game, the Seasiders got off to the perfect start with an early goal, coming just three minutes in courtesy of a Sam Butler header with an assist for Spencer Williams.
Hakin found an equaliser late in the second half through midfielder Jordan Kilby, with an assist for Jack Griffiths.
The result sees Goodwick United move top of the table for the first time this season, two points ahead of Hakin United but with plenty of games left to play.
Tenby continue to show their quality as one of the strongest teams in the Division, looking to build on their impressive fourth place finish last season.
