Goodwick United kept up their title defence in dramatic fashion, with a 94th minute winner from Will Haworth as they came from behind to defeat Tenby in Pembrokeshire Division One.

Both teams went into the game on 10 points each following strong starts to the season, with the Phoenix Boys well aware of the importance of not dropping points with Hakin United having started their season strongly.

It was the Seasiders who took the lead in the 30th minute through Richard Perry with an assist for Ned Davies.

The second half saw a Goodwick United attacking onslaught as they searched for an equalising goal, with the Tenby defence showing excellent organisation and determination to hold them off.

Substitute Jonny Horgan hit the post not long after coming on, but it wasn't until the 84th minute that the visitors finally found an equaliser.

Will Haworth showed quick reactions to head home after Rhys Dalling saw a shot deflected, looping into the path of Haworth past the helpless 'keeper who had reacted to the initial shot.

Not content with a point, Goodwick continued their hunt for another goal. After a corner kick was defended, Matty Delaney made a strong header to keep the attack alive before brother Scott Delaney headed it into the path of Will Haworth to fire home, sending his team wild with celebrations.
