In the final game of the season Herbrandston seconds were forced to leave the field of play as
Stackpole's second string had two Carmarthen Wanderers players in their ranks. The players in question were not very well disguised wearing Carmarthen kit. Stackpole were short and these players in question brought them from 9 players to 11. However with Herbrandston with a chance of promotion and Carmarthen playing at a much higher standard than Stackpole. 

The rules can be confusing around players from other leagues, however from a spirit of cricket point of view it didn't seem a very fair move from the hosts on the day. Upon the matter being raised there was a lot of slopping shoulders, phone calls to the league and all in all a terrible way to end the season. We await to hear the outcome of this ordeal, but most of all it was a waste of a sunny afternoon in a stunning venue.
