Solva 2nds continued their march for promotion with a 3-0 away victory over already crowned champions Milford United 3rds in Pembrokshire Division Five on Monday 7th April.
With the Robins young team guaranteed to finish top, Solva 2nds know they have to win their remaining games to guarantee promotion, with games in hand over 2nd place Manorbier.
With their firsts finishing their campaign in Division Two, they have also had the luxury of a large squad to choose from in recent weeks.
The visitors got off to the dream start with youngster Lucas Price putting them in front just seven minutes in, thanks to an assist from Sean Ellison.
Ten minutes later and the lead was doubled, with Price the provider this time for the experienced Joseph Shaw.
After their lightning start, Solva had to wait until the 74th minute to get their third and final goal, Price registering another assist to set up substitute Cameron Thomas to round off the victory.
The result sees Solva 2nds sit in third place, two points behind Manorbier with one game left to play, away against Narberth 2nds.
With Milford United 3rds unable to gain promotion as their 2nds side already play in Division Four, St Clears 2nds are the other team still in promotion contention, needing to gain ten points in their last four games to go up.
