Specsavers Haverfordwest has been recognised as one of Wales’ leading optical practices, winning four awards at the Optometry Wales Awards 2025.

Wayne Jones, optometrist and retail director at Specsavers Haverfordwest, says: ‘I couldn’t be prouder of our team and especially of Andy and Samantha for their individual awards. The contribution to the community and care they show every day is what makes this practice so special.
‘Our focus has always been on delivering the best possible care for our customers. The relocation a year ago was a major step forward and it’s great to see that investment already benefiting the people of Haverfordwest and across Pembrokeshire.
‘We’re also delighted that the Hywel Dda Optometric Team, whom we work very closely with, won the Health Board Support Award. It’s a powerful reminder of how much can be achieved through collaborative working and the fact that so many awards came back to west Wales is something we’re incredibly proud of.’
The team celebrated at The Optometry Wales Awards ceremony in Cardiff on 29 November, where there were 12 awards categories. Specsavers Haverfordwest won in four of the eight categories they were shortlisted for.
