Merlins Bridge 2nds came through an entertaining contest to defeat Neyland 3-2 in Pembrokeshire Division Two.
The Wizards took the lead early on, with a goal in the 2nd minute from their captain Kian Lee.
They then doubled the lead in the 30th minute, with youngster Daniel Isaac setting up Harrison Goddard to make it two.
In the second half, Merlins Bridge made it three, with Bradley Barrett converting from the penalty spot.
Things were about to get nervy though for the hosts, with goalkeeper Ben Skudder forced off with an injury, leading to defender Josh Silk stepping in between the sticks.
Neyland pulled a goal back in the 64th minute from a Jay Johnstone free-kick.
Ben Gale then further reduced the deficit to just a goal, scoring in the 79th minute to make it 3-2.
The Wizards were able to hold on, with the victory putting four points between them and their opponents, in 5th and 6th place respectively.
