Match photos as Milford United defeated Prendergast villa in extra time to advance to the next round of the Senior Cup on Saturday 25th January 2025.

The Robins grabbed a late winner in dramatic fashion, with heartbreak for their Division Four opponents who pushed them all the way.

Villa would have gone into the game quietly hopeful of causing problems following a decent season which included a narrow West Wales Cup exit to top quality opposition earlier in the season. In contrast, their opponents have struggled with key players missing this campaign, although they did seal an excellent victory over Clarbeston Road in the league the last time out.

It was the match-winner from that game, Liam Davies, who once again put the hosts in front, scoring from the penalty spot in the 37th minute.

The visitors grabbed an equaliser in the second half through Captain Andrew John, forcing thirty minutes of extra-time.

With Villa reduced to ten men after Tom Wilks received his marching orders in the 106th minute for a second yellow, Davies was once again the match winner, coming up trumps in the 119th minute of play to send the Robins through.
