Local MP completes his first Haverfordwest Parkrun

Haverfordwest parkrun, number 312 was held on the Racecourse, Haverfordwest on Saturday (Mar 15) and for the first time, one of the 24536 people who have finished, was Henry Tufnell MP, who completed his first parkrun.

The politician set a time of 18.14 minutes at the free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event.

He was joined by 79 other walkers and runners, with his wife Poppy volunteering for the first time also, the mother to be one of fifteen volunteers which allows the Haverfordwest event to take place under the umbrella of parkrun Uk.

The event takes place every Saturday commencing at 9am, the local organisers grateful to Haverfordwest Racecourse Public Park Trust for their cooperation in allowing the event to take place and Haverfordwest Cricket Club for supporting each weekend, by providing toilet facilities for all of the ‘parkrun family’ present.
