Hakin United 2nds sealed their spot in the Second Division Cup Semi-Finals with a comfortable 5-0 victory over Monkton Swifts 2nds on Saturday 8th March 2025.
The young Vikings team took a two goal lead into the half-time break thanks to a brace from Corey Riley, thanks to assists from Scott Paddison and Ethan Dawes.
It was more of the same in the second period with Evan Rutherford adding a third for the hosts thanks to an assist from Lewis Llewellyn.
Substitute Finley Turner, effectively making his debut for Hakin (disregarding the few minutes against Johnston last time out), found the net twice to bring the scoreline to 5-0, with a brace of assists for fellow 16-years-old substitute Kian Jones, also making his first senior appearance.
In the other Quarter-Finals, the league's top two teams Narberth and Fishguard Sports both sealed victories last weekend, with Merlins Bridge 2nds set to host Camrose next weekend, Saturday 13th March.
