Johnston made it six wins in nine league games with a resounding 8-0 victory over lowly Lawrenny, thanks to a hat-trick from Josh Knapp and a brace from Callum Rees.

The result sees the Tigers move in to the top half following a decent run of form as they look to finish the season strongly.

The game started with a dream start, with Josh Knapp putting his side in front just two minutes in thanks to an assist from Captain Joey George.

Knapp then doubled the lead in the 18th minute, thanks to an assist from Callum Rees.

Rees, celebrating his birthday and hot off a hat-trick in his last league outing, then hit a quickfire double himself with goals in the 40th and 46th minutes thanks to assists from Lucas George and Geno Cleal.

Knapp then completed his hat-trick in the 54th minute with another assist for Joey George, his seventh goal in six league games since resigning for the club.

Just a minute later and Joey George found himself on the scoresheet himself, before forward Ryan Doyle made it seven just two minutes later again.

Doyle then set up the final goal of the game, with defender Lewis Boswell completing the scoring to make it 8-0.

Catching up with First Team Manager Ashley Bevans after the game, he shared "We played a lot of good stuff that made for enjoyable viewing. It was good to keep a clean sheet for the first time in a few games and move into the top half. Our target is to win our three remaining games and finish as high as possible."
