Last season's Senior Cup runners up Milford United made it through to the Quarter Final stage with a 4-1 victory over fellow second division side Camrose at the Martin Mathias memorial ground on Saturday (Feb 14) writes Jonathan Twigg, striker Ali Ouzman netting a second half brace for the Robins.

They opened the scoring when centre half Scott Griffiths scored from closes range following a scramble in the home box midway through the first half following a corner, the lead lasting 3 minutes before Connor Planner equalised following a similar scramble after he was set up by Alex Larsen.

An early change in the second half saw veteran defender Gareth John replaced by Tom Pratt and then key midfielder Joe Haworth collected a second yellow card from referee Angus Scourfield for a rash challenge in the middle of the park a minute later. The management trio of Chris Davies, Jordan Raymond and John shuffled their pack and held the game at 1-1 until the last 15 minutes when Scott Reid curled a superb shot from the edge of the box leaving goalkeeper Craig Meecham with no chance, Reid keeping his composure having been set through on goal from influential midfielder Morgan Picton, showing all his experience to put his side ahead.

Meecham and teenage full back Florian Nash had both stood out in their defensive duties, keeping Reid and Ouzman at bay, the introduction of wide midfielder Joey Jones and Josh Dyer making the desired impact for managers Scott Rutherford and Joff Lennon. Once ahead the Robins played some excellent one touch passing to then open up a tiring ten man Camrose outfit, Reid setting up Ouzman for the first of his goals 2 minutes later and then the same combination combined within a minute to settle the tie.

Neyland returned from another all second division cup encounter at Little Castle Grove with a 5-1 victory over Herbrandston, Max Bowman-Davies opening the scoring on 7 minutes before his captain Mike Chandler doubled the lead a minute before referee Keith McNiffe blew for half time. Morgan James made it 3-0 7 minutes into the second period, home striker Adam Whatling pulling a goal back on the hour. Chandler scored his second of the game as the game entered its final quarter, Joe Campodonic getting the goal for his team to go nap.

Title chasing Tenby overcame second division visitors to The Clicketts, Solva 5-0 in a game refereed by Paul Rooney, thanks to a brace of goals from veteran frontmen Joe Leahy and Scott Ferney, Liam Williams scoring between Ferney’s first half strikes.

Third division St Clears took second division New Hedges & Saundersfoot to penalties after the game ended 4-4, Harri Jones equalised in injury time for the Boars, after the Seasiders' Harvey Drummond had put his side in front during the added on time of referee Daniel James' watch.

St Clears teenager Charlie Tatton-Carter had opened the scoring midway through the first half, influential play maker Tom Mansbridge equalising on 35 minutes which saw home team official Kyle Kennedy dismissed by James. Drummond scored the first of his two goals and Mansbridge also netted again before Charlie Bujega and Leon Steele tied the encounter before the excitement at the end of the half.

With no goals in extra time the visitors scored all five of their penalties through veteran Toby Smith, Adam Davidson, Drummond, teenager Taylor Corkery and Finley Drummond, Jones missing his sides first spot kick and his team mates of Steele, Tatton-Carter and 17 year old Lewis Langdon keeping the pressure on their opponents, but it was the Seasiders who progressed to the last eight of the competition.
